CONTEXT AND CHALLENGES

The AA project is set in a small townhouse located near Pointe Rouge in Marseille. The intervention focuses on the ground floor, entirely redesigned to offer a more fluid reading of the space. The project seeks to create visual continuity while developing distinct atmospheres, allowing a succession of places with varied uses and atmospheres.

ARCHITECTURAL APPROACH

Spaces flow naturally, alternating between openness and intimacy. Outside, a pool with simple lines, finished in white lime, extends the living spaces and introduces a peaceful atmosphere. The east-facing terrace draws on different references, between the Mediterranean softness of Greece and warmer influences from Mexico. An outdoor shower, evoking Balinese spirit, is set in the heart of the vegetation, offering an intimate and protected space.

MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES

The project plays with natural materials, textures and light to compose contrasting and complementary atmospheres. Lime, vegetation and mineral elements dialogue with the existing architecture to create a place that is both simple, warm and exotic. The whole invites an outdoor-oriented way of living, where each space becomes a sensory experience.
